This passageway owes its name to Mrs. Francesca Simon i Ferrer, who was the owner of the plot in 1867.
In the same passage, there is still hidden a Spanish Civil War air-raid shelter, built by the neighbours with shovels. A sewage cover hides the ladder that goes down vertically through the narrow hole. This original entrance was closed at the end of the war and nowadays it is still closed and visits are not allowed.
